Gayle Tzemach Lemmon

What happens when the US military sends women into the heart of the world's most elite special operations? This is the story of the Cultural Support Teams (CSTs)—a group of female soldiers who broke every rule to fight alongside Navy SEALs and Army Rangers in Afghanistan. Author Gayle Tzemach Lemmon reveals how these women, like the unforgettable Ashley White, navigated a war where they were both essential and invisible. From dodging Taliban bullets to winning the trust of Afghan women, they proved that the front lines have no gender. But at what cost? This video dives into the gritty, untold reality of their mission, the hidden casualties, and the legacy that changed the US military forever. If you think you know modern warfare, think again.
