Why Your Brain Treats God and Mickey Mouse the Same Way (The Hidden Code of Reality)

Based on Gabriel Levy's groundbreaking book *Beyond Heaven and Earth: A Cognitive Theory of Religion*, this video reveals a shocking truth: your brain processes fictional characters and divine beings using the exact same cognitive machinery. We explore how modern science, AI, and social media are just new versions of ancient religious rituals. Discover why facts can't change minds, why believing in nonsense is an evolutionary superpower, and how the universe itself might be made of language. Levy, a cognitive scientist, argues that meaning isn't stored in your head—it's created between people. This is a deep dive into the hidden code that controls your thoughts, from the Tower of Babel to your smartphone addiction.
