The Hidden Truth About Arab Women: Nawal El Saadawi Exposes Global Oppression
Nawal El Saadawi, a pioneering Egyptian doctor and feminist, reveals the brutal reality behind the veil in her seminal work 'The Hidden Face of Eve'. This video uncovers how Arab women's oppression is not just cultural or religious, but a global conspiracy of capitalism, patriarchy, and imperialism. From female genital mutilation to honor killings, from the myth of virginity to the exploitation of domestic workers, Saadawi dismantles every justification for control. She argues that true liberation requires fighting both class and gender oppression. Watch to see why her radical ideas remain as urgent today as when first written—and why they challenge Western feminism too.
