Why Faith Fails: The Christian Delusion Exposed (Outsider Test)
The Christian Delusion: Why Faith Fails
Are you a Christian because you found the truth, or just because you were born in the right place? This video unpacks the explosive book 'The Christian Delusion: Why Faith Fails' by John W. Loftus and Dan Barker. It introduces the 'Outsider Test for Faith'—a simple but devastating question that challenges every believer to apply the same skepticism they have for other religions to their own. We dive into cognitive science, psychology, and history to reveal why faith is a cultural illusion, not a rational choice. From the psychology of certainty to the moral failures of the Bible, this isn't just a critique—it's a wake-up call. Watch to see why your beliefs might be built on sand.
